This themed workshop will bring together a sensory combination of some of Spain's most renowned delights, pairing informative discussion of famous Spanish art and life drawing with the most delicious Spanish wines, tapas and music.
Hosted by talented artist and intellectually curious Rebecca Ivatts, this evening of fun entertainment promises to be informal and relaxed, but enlightening at the same time. After graduating in Modern Languages from Oxford University, Rebecca studied Objective Life Drawing and Painting at the Slade School of Art, and then Anatomy at the Princes Drawing School. Subsequently, she took classes in expressive life drawing with two tutors from the Royal College of Art. After living in Madrid for four years, where she gained a diploma in Painting Processes and Techniques at the San Fernando Arts Academy, Rebecca has now returned to London where she has her studio.
Rebecca has exhibited her work in London, Madrid, Northern Spain, Athens and Ireland, and is an engaging, wonderful artist who we can't wait for you to meet!
During the class you will have the chance to experiment and have fun with your life drawing, while Rebecca will be guiding you along the way. Come with thoughts, ideas, questions, a love for Spain, or simply a burning desire for some delicious Tapas, let's bring an artistic flicker of Spanish culture to London and enjoy exploring our senses.
