Gentrification regularly appears in the media as a controversial topic and has been an issue in Soho for decades. Aro Korol’s 2017 documentary film Battle of Soho takes this subject and explores how gentrification has changed the heart of London’s bohemian quarter.

Taking place at the historic Regent Street Cinema, the film screening is followed by a Q&A with the director Aro Korol, Margherita Sprio (author and reader in film and visual culture), and members of The Soho Society, with a drinks reception to follow.
