Jenna recognises the struggles we face with social media’s growing domination over marketing messages today and the ways in which this swift change of marketing ploys has thrown some businesses off balance. For Jenna, it’s all about taking a step back and ensuring our businesses become true brands - brands that have an image and a personality which creates relationships with consumers, who are drawn in and excited by what the brand has to offer them. Rather than promoting just a business with offers and something to sell, Jenna advocates brands which have built trust. If people don’t need the offer and aren’t drawn in, then they simply have zero need to connect to the business, whereas, if they feel a connection to a brand, it’s far more likely that they’ll remember it in the future for when they may need its service. It can be easy to alienate consumers and risk reaching a narrow audience in business, and so it’s up to the strength of branding to connect to a wider audience and make a long-term impact.
