Dora de Almeida Prado, our lovely member as well as holistic therapist specialising in Stress, Burnout and Chronic Fatigue. Dora uses her skills as a Meditation Guide, Yin Yoga Teacher, Bach Flower Remedies Practitioner and ThetaHealer to de-stress those who are living a fast-paced life and are in need of some guidance on how to shift your perception on priorities and have more harmony in your daily life as a result.
What to expect:
4 weekly sessions (Feb 06, 13, 20 &27), after work (19hs), to calm down your nervous system, recenter and recollect with meditation, yin yoga and a chat.
• Learn how meditation can help you not only to feel calmer, but also to find clarity of thought and replenish you. Even if you live life in the fast lane.
• Give yin yoga a try. This is a slow-paced, passive modality, mostly laying on your mat, allowing gravity to work for you, giving your body a deep stretch, while also considering the concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
• Heart to heart chat on the theme - everyone is invited to share their thoughts, tips, questions.
Dora will present you facts about brain & meditation; yoga & sympathetic and Parasympathetic Nervous Systems.
No homework! She won't add anything to your - already heavy - load. But hopefully you will incorporate some of the learnings into your daily life.
Why 4 weekly session?
Researchers say that it takes us 21 days of repeating a new routine to form a new habit - or break one.
But that’s not the whole truth.
What we are really looking for is a new automatic behaviour, one that we don’t struggle to keep after a while.
So, what Dora proposes is that, for 4 Tuesdays, you keep the commitment of taking some time out for yourselves, learning tools to keep that “me time” part of your life and by the end of your course, you'll find it much easier to keep a healthy balance within your life!
Obs: Bringing your own mat is encouraged, however if you prefer - or don't have one yet - Dora will be happy to rent you one for £2/day - please request in advance through email.
This event requires a minimum of 4 participants. If it doesn't meet this quorum it will be canceled and you will receive a full refund - or be able to exchange into another time or another workshop if you prefer.
In case you need to cancel, you are still entitled to:
* A full refund is offered 10 working days before the starting date,
* 80% refund is offered 5+ working days prior to starting date
* And 50% refund is offered 2+ working days before the start of your course.
Unfortunately, after that refunds cannot be issued, however Dora will do her best to accommodate you in an alternative group, if available.
