BLACKS CLUB SUNDAY ROAST

In 2017, Roger Payne took over Blacks Club with the aim of restoring the building back to its original Georgian heritage, as well as revitalising the club’s 18th century roots as a supper club through comfort and respect of the origin of the Club. Roger, the custodian of the house, wants to welcome you to the Blacks Club’s Sunday Roast!

The chef, Jon Grimes, has designed a beautifully honest and seasonal menu, with a focus on using the highest quality British produce available.

This includes three courses and all the trimmings required on a Sunday plus a welcome drink of your choice.

Blood orange salad with dried olives, pickled red onions

Smoked halibut, crispy leaves salad with a caper and lemon dressing

Blacks Roast

English Rare breed, roasted beef
Roasted free range chicken
Gruyere-stuffed Vegetarian nut roast

All the trimmings and more:

Goose fat roasted potatoes, veggie option available
Roasted heritage carrots & parsnips
Buttered kale
Cauliflower cheese
Yorkshire puddings

To finish

Mixed berry pavlova
Vegan lemon posset
