As a neuroscientist and engineer, Daniel Wolpert is fascinated by how the brain controls our every movement.

Join Daniel at the Royal Institution as he discusses the real reasons for human brain evolution and the engineering approaches his team uses to understand even more about what’s inside our heads.

This event is part of their 'Ri Patrons present' series, and so with the support of the Ri Patron community, they are pleased to present this monthly series of fascinating events bringing together science and society. Following the event, Ri Patrons have the opportunity to meet the speakers and learn more about their research.

What to expect?

The doors will open at approximately 6.30pm, with a prompt start at 7.00pm. There will be time for questions after the talk. Latecomers will be admitted to the gallery.
